Support
Need a hand? Email [email protected] and tell us what happened. We read every message and reply as soon as we can. If you can, add your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About). Please don’t put health details in your email; we don’t need them to help.
Cancel your subscription
Good Footing Pro is billed by Apple, so you cancel with Apple:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Choose Good Footing, then tap Cancel Subscription.
While you have a trial or a subscription, Me → Subscription → How to cancel in the app shows the same steps, with a button that opens Apple’s page. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. To avoid a charge after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restore your purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open the Me tab, then Help → Restore purchase. Use the same Apple Account you bought with. You can also tap Restore at the bottom of the plans screen. Restoring does not charge you again. If your plan still doesn’t show, email us.
Delete your data
Open the Me tab, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete all my data. This removes your answers, sessions, journey progress and settings from your phone. It can’t be undone.
Workouts already saved in Apple Health stay there; you can remove them in the Health app. Your subscription is not affected; manage it in Settings (see above). The purchase record kept by Apple and RevenueCat is not removed by this. To have it deleted, email us; the Privacy Policy explains how.
Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for or sign in to. Your answers and progress stay on your phone.
What happens when I get a new phone?
Your progress is stored only on your phone, so the app can’t carry it to another phone by itself. If you set up the new phone from a backup of the old one, it may come along. Your purchase comes back with Restore.
Do I have to connect Apple Health?
No, it’s optional and the app works without it. If you connect it, the app reads your step count and saves your workouts, and the route of outdoor walks, to Apple Health. You can connect it in Me → Apple Health, and change what the app may read or write at any time in your iPhone’s Settings under Health.
How do I change or stop reminders?
Open Me → Notifications. There you can change the time, choose how often, and switch each kind of reminder on or off. To stop every notification from the app, turn them off in your iPhone’s Settings → Notifications → Good Footing.
